The refuge proposes to expand hunting opportunities on 98 acres of the Rapids Lake Hunt Unit in accordance with the existing refuge specific regulations. The hunt plan amendment and categorical exclusion documents provide additional information and are available for public review.  The comment period will stay open for 60 days through the end of the 鈥2023鈥2024 Station-Specific Hunting and Sport Fishing Regulations鈥 and closes August 22, 2023. If you wish to comment, please note 鈥淢innesota Valley Refuge鈥 in the subject line of an email, and address to HuntFishRuleComments@fws.gov.
