Fri, March 14 | Glowing fungi! Luminescent lichen! Owl calls and moonlight! When: Friday, March 14th, 6:30 pm-8:00 pm What: Attendees will explore the trails around Peavy Arboretum as the sky gets dark and a full moon comes up. We will have UV flashlights available and knowledgeable guides to help us discover exciting new details about this habitat that so many plants and animals call home. Registration is limited to keep groups small. Trails will include tripping hazards such as tree roots, so closed-toe, sturdy shoes are a must. March can bring us any kind of weather, and this event will take place rain or shine. Please prepare for the weather, and layers are your friend! Great Raindrop Scavenger Hunt
The phone based (digital) Scavenger hunt hosted at Bush Pasture Park (890 Mission St SE, Salem, OR 97302) and Keizer Rapids Park (1900 Chemawa Rd N, Keizer, OR 97303) will run March 1-31.
Habitat Storywalk in Monmouth Mainstreet Park
Throughout March and April. The habitat storywalk is a physical installation of the book - pages on each wooden stanchion in Spanish and English - in the downtown Mainstreet Monmouth Park. Folks can go to the park and read the story at their own pace!

Join as at any of the Field Stations that will pop-up in local parks and community spaces throughout the month of March and throughout the mid-Willamette Valley. Find one near you!
FREE!! Drop by anytime and stay for as little or as long as you like. Activities are bilingual (Spanish and English). ALL are welcome.
