Federal Recreation Passes
No entrance fee is required to visit the refuge. However, we do issue to prepare you for travels to other public lands.
Staff can typically issue America The Beautiful passes Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Visitor Center (13751 Upper Embankment Road, Nampa, ID 83686). The Visitor Center is closed Federal holidays. Call 208-467-9278 to confirm staff availability or to ask questions about passes. We currently do not accept credit cards for payment. We accept cash or checks.
Passes available:
- Senior Lifetime Pass ($80)
- Senior Annual Pass ($20)
- America the Beautiful Annual Pass ($80)
- Military Lifetime Pass (Free to veterans and to Gold Star Families )
- Military Annual Pass (Free to active military and dependents)
- Access Pass (Free to U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States that have been medically determined to have a permanent disability. Does not have to be 100% disability.)
- Every Kid in a Park Pass (Free for 4th graders, )
NOTE: Per regulations, passes may not be given as a gift and must be signed at the time of purchase, except for the America the Beautiful Annual Pass. Picture identification will be required at the time of purchase, and some passes require additional documentation.
Duck Stamps
Federal Duck Stamps are available to purchase for $25. Staff can typically sell Federal Duck Stamps Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Visitor Center (13751 Upper Embankment Road, Nampa, ID 83686). We accept cash or checks. Federal Duck Stamps are also available to purchase online.
