Troutfest 2025

The Chattahoochee Forest National Fish Hatchery participated in the Troutfest 2025 in downtown Blue Ridge Georgia. The event is put on by the Blue Ridge Mountain Trout Unlimited Chapter. The event host several trout related vendors including guides, fly shops, Government agencies, and local craftsman selling their trades. The event was visited by more than 3,000 people this year. Chattahoochee Forest National Fish Hatchery Project Leader Kelly Taylor and Deputy Project Leader Joseph Helseth answered a multitude of questions from the public about where we stock, when we stock, our fishing events we host, and overall questions on how we operate. It was a great day enjoyed by everyone.
