Hatchery Provides Fishing to Local Nursing Home Residents

Written By

Residents at Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center enjoyed a special morning of trout fishing, thanks to a community outreach event provided by Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery. Biological Science Technician Alan Kimbler transported rainbow trout and equipment to set up a fishing pool right at the facility! Volunteers Bob and Angie Foran also joined, supplying participants with fishing poles, bait, and assistance as they cast their lines.

Several fish were caught, and the excitement was clear in the smiles shared around the pool! This event is part of the bet365下载ios鈥檚 ongoing commitment to connect people with nature by bringing outdoor experiences to local communities.

Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery is proud to support programs that inspire and engage all ages in conservation and outdoor recreation!
