About This Position
Help staff the front desk at Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. During your shift, you will:
- Greet refuge visitors and answer their questions about refuge wildlife and recreational activities.
- Keep the Visitor Center tidy and restock brochures and flyers.
- Track visitation.
- Answer the phone.
- Operate videos upon request.
- Help with office tasks like shredding papers or folding brochures.
- Optionally, open the Grebe's Nest Nature Store and manage sales during your shift.
